2025

It has been a good year for us. Largely free of medical matters, plus celebrations for our joint 70th birthdays. These started in February with a night at the Manoir aux Quatre Saisons. This turned out to be one of the last opportunities before the hotel closes for refurbishment and Raymond Blanc leaves.

In May we embarked on our longest holiday ever: four weeks, starting with a few days in Santa Monica. We then engaged in some serious bucket list ticking: a cruise (for Elaine) via the Panama Canal (for Chris). A stay on New York’s Lower East Side completed the trip.

The rest of the year has included our usual trips to Edinburgh, London and Manchester (where eldest granddaughter Paige is now at university.)
